Well today we had our very first swimming lesson at the Scott Park pool down the street. Juliette is a little amphibian. She did great! All of her grandparents were there to watch the first lesson. Everyone enjoyed her so much and saw full scale entertainment. She was a little young to try to teach but we practiced a lot. She worked on kicking her feet, using her arms on her belly by reaching for a ball, blowing bubbles (this one we did not get too far on) and splish splashing in the water.
It reminded me so much of when I was a young little lifeguard and used to teach the tadpoles and guppies. This was the level of swimmer. I never taught the minnows though which is what Juliette would be. It is as much fun for me to be back in the water with her as it is for her to be taking the little lesson. We have three more lessons for the season.

Yeah Juliette! She will have to join us at the Sprinklers, Ellison loves the water as well as long as Thomas doesn't splash her or push her under water (yes, this has happened but only in the tub). See you tomorrow.
