Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

Every where you go....

We had a great weekend getting the house all ready for Christmas. Juliette is totally into Santa Claus this year and kind of is beginning to get it. Christmas shopping should be quite easy this year as she tells me all that she wants from Santa is "pink candy". Does that sound good or what?

We went and picked out the tree yesterday and decorated it. Juliette was such a helper and wanted to HELP WITH EVERYTHING (yes, I emphasize EVERYTHING) even putting ornaments up at the top of the tree. We had such a wonderful time.

Juliette gets funnier by the day. She gave a dance show (both with tap shoes and ballet shoes) to everyone at Thanksgiving. For those of you who have known me for a long time know that would not have been me and we know that would not have been Don. Don't ask us where we got such a ham. She tells me every day that "My Mommy is beautiful".... today she went so far as to tell me that she was "gorgeous..." I swear I am not bribing my child to say this either. You have got to love sweet little girls.

Today in the car I had a diet coke can, I was getting her out of the seat and she tells me "Mommy loves beer" .... that is all I need her to tell her teachers especially when it is only a diet coke :)

We are going to enjoy each and every day of this Christmas season this year. I hope each of you do as well.

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. It is always a special weekend as we have so much to celebrate. Don and I were married on November 25th which happened to fall on Thanksgiving this year as well as my Dad and Don's Dad both have birthdays on Nov 25. We had everyone over to our house. Thank you again Mom for all of your cooking. It would not be the same if I tried to make the turkey - trust me!

Happy birthday to my sweet Dad two days early

We celebrated my Dad's birthday this evening so I thought I would go ahead and wish him a very happy Birthday. He is one of those that always shares a birthday on Thanksgiving (which his birthday falls on this year) so we celebrated tonight! Thank you so much for being such a wonderful Father. You are always willing to help and I appreciate you every day!

Halloween party pictures

I finally was able to get a hold of some of the pitcures from the Halloween party. We had SO much fun! Juliette danced with the guitar all evening. She has become quite the dancer.

I heard from her teachers that on Tuesday she stood up and danced and sang to "The Wheels on the bus" all be herself. I was laughing becuase I knew just how into that song she is! Hopefully I can get a little video of her singing and dancing and post it.

Today Don and I got to go to Juliette's ballet/tap class and actually watch her. She really played up to the fact that we were there to watch her dance and participated more this class than any other class. Ms Jan her teacher could not believe it. The baby girls are all so much fun! Juliette wanted to come and give us hugs each time there was a little break. She was so proud that we were all there to watch her.
