Out of the blue...

I am filled with hope that we are making strides on the potty. Tonight Juliette looked at me and said "potty". I ran her to the potty and she sat on the big potty and went four different times. She even wanted to use the toilet paper and then flush - fingers crossed this is the beginning to the end in sight of diapers.

Happy Happy Father's Day

We had a wonderful Father's Day with Daddy and my Dad. Juliette and I took Daddy to brunch after church this morning. That is always so much fun. There was a commercial being filmed in the old Village for the shriners. They took some shots of her. Who knows, she may be in a little commercial as little onlooker somewhere. Anyway, we had dinner with my parent's for Father's day. It was such a beautiful day to celebrate. Tonight at dinner, my Dad gave to Juliette a family heirloom that sat on my Grandparent's bar for years. It is an old old bottle of unopened creme de menthe from the 1950's that they used to make with a music box and a dancing ballerina inside of the bottle and then inside of a glass in the bottle. Juliette was fascinated by it and all night she has wanted to play and watch "Rina". For a while, "Rina" will be more on the display side of things until she is a little older and a little but more gentle.

To Dono, thank you for being such a wonderful husband and Father. Juliette LOVES every minute that she spends with you. A special thank you to to my Dad as well for being such a great and supportive Dad. I cannot thank you for all the help that you are willing to give me anytime. We love our Doh.

More fun in the sun...

There is so much fun in the sun this summer Juliette and I can hardly contain our excitement! She has become such a water baby you would not believe it. We met Amy and Jill and the girls at the beach this morning and played. Juliette is into sand buckets and all of her little toys to play with the sand. It was SO much fun.

Tomorrow we will be busy celebrating Father's Day with wonderful "Daddy"

First day at the Little Gym

Juliette had her first day at the little gym this past week. What a cute place this is for little ones. She is in the "Super Beast" class. She was a little timid when we first walked in but a few minutes of watching the class before her she was ready to dive right in.

She LOVED the class and threw a mild tantrum when we had to leave. She is doing this little class once a week all summer with me. It should be a lot of fun!

Don's Birthday

We missed Daddy's birthday on the blog but none the less we had a wonderful birthday celebration for him. Happy Birthday Dono! Juliette signed her Daddy's card this time all by herself.

Summer fun at the beach

Juliette is making great progress in her battle to overcome her fear of the water. Today she was in the ocean with Don and me for at least two hours. We had so much fun with our friends the Keeley's who are in town for their annual visit.

Not even the animals at Charlestown Landing could keep her awake
