True Friendships

Make new friends, but keep the old;
Those are silver, these are gold.
New-made friendships, like new wine,
Age will mellow and refine.
Friendships that have stood the test-
Time and change-are surely best;
Brow may wrinkle, hair grow gray;
Friendship never knows decay.
For 'mid old friends, tried and true,
Once more we our youth renew.
But old friends, alas! may die;
New friends must their place supply.
Cherish friendship in your breast-
New is good, but old is best;
Make new friends, but keep the old;
Those are silver, these are gold.

Love this! Today we celebrated a very special birthday in Manning, SC for our dear friend Ellison Ann! Her Mama is one of my oldest and dearest friends. And her Mama is one of my Mama's oldest and dearest friends! The poem above sums up the day perfectly!

Happy birthday sweet Ellison Ann! Juliette still plans to marry Thomas so we all could yet be family!

Who's the party pooper??

Could they be any more precious??

One VERY busy boy!

If I can't find Thomas' room, Ellison's room will just have to do!

The mamas of the mamas, the mamas and the best little friends!
