The kiddies enjoying their new toys

Tripp was so excited about his new toy from Tessa and Doh. He has been hanging onto "Bucky" and wants to ride him and sit on him. It is so cute! Bucky has a lot of music that comes with him and Tripp just loves to squeal and move with the beat.

Playing Choo-Choo...

Juliette has also been wild about her new toys! Her new pink pony from Ul"nanny has been a big hit as well! She loves to brush her hair and blow-dry it too.

Merry Christmas to all!

What a wonderful day always! Juliette was up this morning running down the stairs at 7:10. She had already assessed the house and knew that Santa had arrived! We opened gifts and it was so special as it was Tripp's first Christmas! He opened a few little presents and of course the best part was chewing and playing with the wrapping paper!

Juliette's big surprise this Christmas was a new bike! Wow was she excited when she saw that new bike! We took a long walk around the neighborhood so she could test out her first set of wheels.

My present was a new portrait lens! Mama could not be happier taking pictures with her new lens on Christmas morning! There are a few pictures below that I took.

We will be off to Tessa and Doh's tonight for dinner and more Christmas celebrations! Ul'Nanny will be joining us as well.

Merry first Christmas Trippy!

Twas the night before Christmas...

and all through the house... not a creature was stirring not even a mouse...

the children were snuggled all tucked in the bed...

not before telling the grinch to stay far far away

The cookies, cupcake and carrots were placed carefully...

with a note reminding Santa how wonderful I've been...

Our books were read carefully before bed to rouse our excitement of the sleigh ride ahead...

And who waited for Santa patiently by the tree? The elf herself Gypsy!

My 10 month old baby boy!

Tripp is 10 months old today! As every month approaches it gets harder and harder to stick his sticker on him as he wants to play with it and rip it right off. This time we resorted to the back of the chair. He is getting bigger and bigger. Today it really almost sounded like he was repeating me saying "dog." It could have just been babble but I think a word is not too far off.

He is surely not the sleeper that Juliette was as a baby that is for sure. He fights his morning nap already and often thinks he does not need an afternoon nap as well. Mommy has a different thought for him though and knows he needs his sleep.

He is still the sweetest and easiest little boy you can imagine. He is happy all of the time and just goes with the flow!

Happy 10 months old sweet Trippy!

The donkey in the Christmas Pageant

Juliette had her Christmas performance today and she was the donkey! I got a note from her teacher Mrs Kraft a few weeks ago that she specifically asked to be the donkey. She was very excited for two reasons - the donkey carried Mary and also the donkey has a tail (a small obsession of hers - she thinks if she wears a tail - which is the tie for my bathrobe she will be just like the dogs). Tessa made her a gray dress and a tail out of beautiful ribbons for her to wear. The play was precious and Juliette was on the floor next to Mary and Joseph.

We were lucky to have Tessa, Doh, Mima and Grandpa all join us for the occasion. We had lunch afterwards to celebrate.

More Christmas preparations

We continue to eagerly await Christmas. Juliette was so lucky as she got to meet Santa again. Santa showed up at Lowcountry Orthopaedics. Dr. Cox has been growing out his beard for months getting ready for the big day as Santa. It was so much fun and there were over 34 children to meet Santa.

Juliette's first gingerbread house completed!

A much happier Trippy meeting Santa this time around...

The annual Smocking Guild Fashion Show

We had the annual smocking guild fashion show. It is always so much fun and wonderful to see all of the beautiful items that the ladies of the guild have made and designed for their children and grandchildren.

Juliette did the model walk as we had worked on and slowly walked around so everyone could see the beautifully  designed work Tessa has made for her.
