Let's head to Ul'Nanny's house for some Christmas cheer

Ul'Nanny asked the kiddies to come and join him and help put his tree up! The kids had a ball as they always do over there.

Ashley Bell is singing some Christmas carols while we shoot some pictures!

Ul'Nanny and his four niece and nephews!

Tripp thought he was hiding behind Ul'Nanny's couch and we couldn't see him so he didn't have to leave. He is hilarious!

"Oh Christmas Tree oh Christmas Tree..."

Well really we call this the Thanksgiving tree. It always comes out the week before Thanksgiving when we are preparing for all of our guests. This year there will be 20 for dinner. It is always so much fun!

You can't believe all of the assistance I get! So much assistance that we would like to both be on the ladder at the same time!

Tyler was so into the spirit. His brother... not so much. He was tired and went to bed! He could hardly finish his dinner!

Tyler was sure to let us know that he had some lights he was sure that we could use.

And my sweet girl got to put the final touches on the tree with the ribbon wrapping around the tree. She was thrilled!

Juliette's first football game

What a blast! We went to our annual Carolina Gamecocks game. This time Juliette got to join us with her little friend Alex. It has been a tough year for us Cocks fans but none the less we had a blast!

With this excitement and dance you would think they won the game?
That is a negative... the Citadel beat us...
That meant nothing to Juliette and she cheered the whole time!

Good times with my girl!

A gorgeous day to head to Middleton Place

It is one of our favorite places to go just to go! The kids love the horses, the peacocks, the goats running around and just the land to run!

"Look Mommy at that sheep!"
I think we need to go a little bit more often to learn the difference in some animals

One thing that never changes is the little Mama in her... she will help her little brother any way she can

This smile was short lived as Tripp decided he was going to have a clothes crisis in the middle of the Plantation! He wanted to take his fancy sweater off... ummm Tripp there is nothing under it and it is 50 degrees outside...
Not a good enough answer as he threw himself right onto some chewed up hay from the horses.
I shouldn't laugh but it was oh so funny as always!

Tessa's teaching Assistant for Sunday school

There is nothing quite as exciting to Juliette lately as getting the good news that she can help Tessa teach the kindergartners Sunday school. She thinks she is hot stuff in the classroom. After all she tells me, "Mommy I am seven and they are five." She loves to carry the little girls around when they are singing in a circle and she even lets Tessa know if she and the children are singing off-key.

I snapped a picture of the class and check the assistant out in the back. She even has those hands on her hips like she is the real deal Assistant.

Can anyone say "Cheese"?

Ahhh these guys are so happy they now just don't watch their big brother and sister but they can do what they do! Tyler was crawling on the driveway watching everyone and all of a sudden lost the army crawl and away he flew with the normal crawl. He was in shock at how fast he could move! They were so excited when we gently placed them on the big wheel and the yellow car! They did not want to get off.

The weather makes everyone want to stay outside an play! Who wants to be inside on 65 - 70 degree days...

This is a perfect live shot of trying to get everyone to look at the camera and smile. Tripp is too worried that Thomas is going to jump into the yellow car and run away with it hence his pout look, Tyler is trying to move the big wheel with himself on it, Juliette is more worried about trying to get her brother to smile and Thomas only wants out of her arms and back in the car...

PS... the three's have hit our house with a vengeance. Mommy has renamed Tripp boy "Pouting Paul" as Tripp will pout now at least 28 times a day. He is a classic pouter with the stomp off, arms wrapped tight around his chest and he now likes to put himself in timeout. Each night before even knowing what is for dinner... "I no like dat dinner..." Dinner has even become the typical struggle.

And then with all of Mommy's tricks to try to make everyone look this is what we can get! We'll take it!

All that work trying to ride the big wheel...

leads to a snooze on a walk in the stroller...

And off she flew

The fun that Belinda brings... it is amazing how these little people all love her! She adds so much to the season and they love to greet her each morning.

I am not sure who is most sad when she leaves, the children or Mommy.

Melinda, Belinda's cousin who visits Tessa and Doh's house for the month also had to fly away. Upon her arrival Juliette was in awe. She looked her over, analyzed her, blew her a kiss and even tried to see her legs under her dress. Tripp just shook those little feet in amazement and screached, "Melinda's back!"

Tyler's first look was, "What the ??... who in the world is she?"

Tripp was worried on Halloween evening that she may be gone the next day so he was even willing to give her a kiss on her face...

Everyone wanted one final picture with her!
Please don't mind the fact that Tripp wanted no clothes that day and insisted on Christmas jammies all day... some days the fight is real and just not worth fighting... enjoy little buddy!

Belinda assured us that this was her happiest month at the house ever! She loved the new addition and even left a special note for Trippy
"Dear Tripp boy:
You are a very good little boy. I was so happy to be with you for the whole month. You are a very special boy and so are your little brothers. I know there is one little brother that you are really sweet to... I am going watch to make sure you are super sweet to both little brothers.
Just remember Belinda loves you and I will see you next year if you are good little boy!"
Hugs and witches,
Belinda

The babies were totally in awe of her. They wanted to say their goodbyes as well.

And as in years past, up the stairs she goes!

See ya next year spooky lady!

11 months old

One more month.... Can you believe we have babies who are almost one year old??
I made an attempt at the nice sitting smiley pose for the monthly update. Here is what I could get... not even two seconds of sitting still and then Thomas is trying to climb on top of Tyler...

The babies are doing great! They are now crawling ALL over the house and let me say... they are FAST! They both have very different personalities. Tyler is EASY... I mean easy as in the easiest of all four of my babies. He is so so "go with the flow" and cooperative. Thomas on the other hand is my high demand baby. He is getting to the age of stranger anxiety and really only wants his Mommy! He loves to squawk and wants things immediately.

They are working on using their cups and both love to eat! Thomas is the bigger eater. He could eat and eat and eat! They love all fruit especially mango. They love veggies too especially avocados.

They love walks in strollers and being outside. The world is such a new and fascinating place to them.

our classic "11 month old picture"

Tyler found a leaf to be ever so tasty! Tyler has the Rod Stewart look going on with the hair. It still loves to stand straight up in the air. It is rather spiky. I believe that he may be our true blue eyed baby. Thomas will have brown eyes like Juliette and Tripp has almost hazel eyes. Tyler's really look blue to me.

Thomas resembles his Sister so much. His hair is much longer and now he has curls in the back approaching his neck. Sorry buddy but I am not cutting them yet. You'll just have to proud in those adorable locks.

Tyler was fascinated with this freaky Halloween balloon the big kids were playing with. "
Why when I grab it does it run away Mommy"

Yes, they are on the move! They LOVE these two stairs and get up easily... it's just the getting back down we have to work on! They love looking through the window into the house and when inside love looking outside.

They were sure they did not want to miss out on the Halloween festivities. I assume candy tastes as good through the wrapper as is does without.

Our life is hilarious, comical and some days downright crazy but
I love these sweet baby boys and am SO happy I am their Mama!

The world of the fair!

There are certain traditions that just can't be broken! The fair in one of them. We had the best time! Tripp yelled the entire time "I love da fair!" At the same time he would jump up and down and shake his legs in excitement!

Juliette is such a sport. She still loves the kiddie rides and really loves to go on them with her little brother.

I took them on a haunted ride for big kids and adults... They were feeling brave and wanted to do it with me. Tripp sat on my lap and squeezed my legs the whole screeching and Juliette nearly bit me! Tripp got out of the dark and loudly let Juliette know... "Mommy I will never do dat scary ride again"... pointing his finger at me."
I told my brother I took them on this ride. He said, "Go figure. That sounds about right since you used to terrorize me about a witch flying into his window at night." Apparently he reminded me that I used to try to sneak in his room and crack open his window so it would look like someone entered.
I secretly get a kick out of all of this!
Mommy can still be a little naughty even with her little ones!
