We're making progress at the beach

We went after school and spent an hour at the beach. The wind was unbelievable and I thought it was downright chilly out there. Tripp actually really enjoyed the beach today. I think the more that I take him the more comforatble he will become. He still really does not want to get near the water but we did play "get the ocean" and we had to have our toes touch the water. He actually got into that. Swim lessons are on the schedule for this summer so will be tackling that soon.

A very BIG toothy kind of day!!

Well it happened today! Ms. Yearout, Juliette's teacher helped her pull her tooth out today! Juliette was thrilled at the carpool line and could not wait to show me the tooth all wrapped up in a ziploc bag! It has been wiggling for several days now and was due to come out any day!

Juliette had received a special tooth fairy pillow just in time from Ms. Cynthia! She left the tooth fairy a little note asking her to please leave her tooth if possible. She has been studying coins and the different values of each coin… she had requested 90 quarters...

AND there was one happy girl when she woke up with a one dollar bill, three quarters, two dimes, one penny and a very colorful wrapped in purple chocolate carrot that the bunny missed on his runs… the tooth fairy knew what to grab!

Sweet dreams "Toothy Princess"

Sweet sweet "Almost" summertime

AND the strawberries are a sign of just how close we are to summer. Juliette did some strawberry picnicking and worked so hard to pick the best berries. We enjoyed strawberry shortcake all week…

No bugs are goon bite this girl! She is armed and ready!

Oh My Oh My...

We have a wiggly tooth!

Juliette and I were in the car and after eating some chick-fil-a all of a sudden she started complaining that her tooth hurt! I thought nothing of it until we got out of the car and looked! This is what I came across!

We had captured some fun getting pedicures, grabbing some chick-fil-a and then a quick snooze in the car! What do we find??

Not only a very loose bottom tooth but a big "mola" as she calls it coming in behind the baby tooth! If you wonder over the last two days of conversation with anyone she meets entails… "Look at my "mola" behind my baby tooth!

5 1/2 years old and about to loose her first tooth!

Tessa, Ul'Nanny and Juliette

Tripp is playing behind the club and I turn around to see him running with his pants all the way pulled down his leg! Who needs pants anyway!

Love my family!

It's time for a visit with the Easter Bunny

Juliette was so excited to get to handle a new baby duck...

Tripp just wanted to jump the whole gated area and jump in with the chickens...

Such a happy boy running around with his Easter basket!

How about the three week old lamb?? It is amazing how agile he is at that age - even running around! Trippy kept calling the lamb "Ashey Belle" because both the kids thought that lamb looked like a little Boykin Spaniel.

Well we had some apprehension with the bunny this year! Tripp was willing to show him a fw of his eggs but was not sure about sitting with him.

Then he realized quickly that they bunny was a friendly bunny and he was okay with hum… suddenly Juliette was a bit apprehensive and scooted away!

Tripp was so proud of himself after he fist pumped the bunny!

No one is scared though when Mommy sits with the bunny too!

And the lamb cakes are….

coming alive! We are baking them today and frosting them as well! This year Tripp was interested in learning as well as "Ms. Adi." This year we made four of them to share with friend and family! They are such a part of our Easter tradition. I can remember making them every year as kids. My Mom has saved the ribbon for many many years that we wrap around the lambs each year.

Baking the lambs with Juliette, Tessa and Ms. Adi

The four new lamb cakes in the freezer - tho years names were Gustavo, Minky, Caroline and Ben

Tripp was quite excited to sneak into the freezer and see what was coming alive in there!

Another proud year for Juliette as she in all honesty made the majority of the lamb!

Daniel Island Easter egg hunt

My Mom and I took the kids and had a beautiful afternoon together searching for Easter eggs. We live in such a beautiful community that includes all kinds of wonderful activities for children! I enjoy saying that each day we continue to make memories to hold onto forever! I am thankful for each day of health, happiness and joy in my life!

Crown of Thorns

During the Lenten season Juliette is learning so much about Christ. She has new things to tell me about daily. Today she made a crown of thorns at school. Every good deed that she does she is allowed to pull off one thorn.

Tripp boy...

My Tripp just keeps on growing! He gets funnier and funnier by the day. Tripp now LOVES to help get ready for "Sleep parties!" He insists on getting some of his own items into the suitcase. I am not sure how they fit half the house in there but I am telling you upon arrive to Tessa and Doh's house, half the house is in there!

He has become quite the fan of "Chucky Cheese"… no need to put money in this machine, the child is happy to just sit with him for 10 minutes at a time!

My Mom has pulled out my Brother's farm equipment that he loved to play with when he was a child… Tripp thinks it is pretty cool and runs around the house with the tractor in tow!

Getting ready for Spring!

He helps Tessa get ready in the morning so he is always finding something funny to keep Tessa on her toes!
