Halloween Evening

We had such a FUN Halloween! These are such special Halloweens having little ones and everything just seems to come alive! We have been listening to the Monster Mash radio on Pandora and it has been so much fun listening to Juliette sing to Tripp and get so into everything. 

We had our annual tradition of going over to Tessa and Doh's for a Halloween chili dinner, carving the pumpkin and then giving the first trick or treaters their candy. It is one of Juliette's favorite parts of the evening.

Tripp had a blast as well. He was into running into the houses. However, Don was exhausted from carrying him to each house so we gave him a  lolipop and he never peeped for the rest of the evening!

Someone was not ready to go trick or treating and CERTAINLY not shy... he was ready to greet the trick or treaters...

And we were off.... a night of golf cart riding and trick or treating...

A very Happy Halloween to all!

Ahhh Halloween and the fall how we love thee...

The weekend has been simply marvelous! We have had the perfect fall weather! Friday evening it was down right cold! It is the time of the year after the heat of the summer where a cool off feels absolutely wonderful!

With that weather we lived it up over the weekend!

Friday evening was my Sherman Halloween party! The party never disappoints. This year was the same! There was even a petting zoo this year that came to the party!

And my other little one feels like she is a pro at riding a pony.... as confident as they come!

A super fun filled two days...

We have had a super fun night last night and all day today. Don had to work today so Juliette, Trippy and I managed to hit two birthday parties, visit with Ul'Nanny, visit the scarecrows in Summerville town square and finish the evening at the delicious new Smashburger in Summerville!

We had not been to 4 Cats in Town Center but the birthday party was SO much fun and so cute. The girls basically were throwing paint into designs. Juliette did not come in the right "old" clothes but they quickly clothed her in an old t-shirt and she was ready to go!

A stop at Ul'Nanny's house to see Juliette's best friend Ashley Belle! She is getting so big and gets so excited to Juliette!

Daddy came and joined us for the scarecrow walk in Summerville! I just love this and so do the kids...

Juliette found my old school... The scarecrow even had the same uniform on!

One more evening of Disney on Ice with two generations of best friends!

And with NO nap all day - 6:30 in the evening and Tripp STILL hanging on in Wonderworks playing with the train.... so into the train that he just jumped up and sat on the table to have a better reach of all the trains...

A Daddy project

It takes a very special Daddy to put together such a work of art. Juliette had a project this month to make a scarecrow of herself. She and her Daddy traveled to Lowe's to get the supplies and even found the boots and shoes while searching around there. Juliette picked out one of her favorite "Tessa skirts" along with a ballet t-shirt since she is a ballerina.

Creepy right? She really looks real! Her body is made out of PVC pipe and her arms move and her legs flop back and forth...

She looked so real every time Gypsy looked at her or ran into her with her legs swaying over the A/C unit she would howl and run away! She never left the security of the chair until she watched "Juliette the scarecrow" leave the house!

Dodgeball

Juliette had her first dodgeball tournament at school! She had a blast and it was quite an event! Apparently there are two tournaments each year and it involves the whole school! Juliette had NO idea what she was doing but you could not help but notice all the fun they were having and how little they cared!

We then headed to "Disney World" for Disney on Ice! Juliette truly thinks we are in Disney World! We had so much fun with our little friend Alex Walden! It was quite a busy day!

Belinda has surely been feeling the love this season!

This year Juliette and Tripp cannot get enough of Belinda! Juliette's imagination is just running wild! She talks to her everyday and laughs at Tripp when he starts screeching when he nears her! We have been quite festive this year with our scarecrow in the yard and pumpkins adorning the porch. Belinda the witch is quite happy and feels like it is going to be a "Spooktacular" Halloween!

Belinda was getting a little annoyed with Tripp! He wanted to continually grab her very long witch like nose!

My child running around the house this morning! Her imagination is hilarious! She is getting ready to jump on and ride her "Allacor!" You ask what an allacorn is?? Well an allacorn is a unicorn with wings! We learn something new everyday!
