A very happy and blessed Easter to everyone!

We had brunch at the Club today to celebrate Easter Sunday! What a beautiful day to celebrate the most holy day of the year!

Juliette with Tessa and Doh and her gorgeous Easter dress that her Tessa just finished the evening before.

After brunch the Easter bunny arrived!!

So excited about our baskets!

This guy is so hilarious and SO full of himself!

Things went a little backwards... the eggs were dyed towards the end of the day!

We celebrate the Resurrection today and hope that everyone is enjoying and celebrating a very special day as well!

An Easter celebration at the Club on Easter Saturday

The children had a wonderful afternoon and so did the Mommy and Daddy! We went to the Club for a children's Easter celebration. We were even able to enjoy an adult beverage - a madras which is always fun!

Juliette was ready to wear her beautiful dress from Tessa in which she has named her "angel dress"

We got to the party and Sissy has been working hard helping her brother walk! She is so patient and demands that he is going to walk for her...

There were lambs at the party and baby chicks which Jules loved holding and petting

Juliette leading her Daddy right to the ice cream table... she is one smart little girl and always knows what she wants!

Precious Daddy and Trippy!

The Easter bunny was even there!

Mommy and her two precious babies!

Juliette was playing the egg drop game...

You can do it "Sport" as Doh calls him! Let's walk!

Getting prepared for Easter

Each year we prepare for a very special holiday with the baking of the lamb cakes. It is SO much fun and Juliette has helped my Mom make them now for 3years. This year she was SUPER in to the process.

These are the lamb molds that were my Great-Grandmother's - they are so old we don't even know the original date on them

Here is the recipe that my Grandmother typed back int he day... you can see how worn and used it is but I just think that is the beauty of it... we pull it out every year to keep the tradition going

And so we begin to beat the eggs and make the dough

We had a certain little girl who wanted to eat lots of the batter... therefore we had just enough to bake him

Tessa getting ready to put the lambs in the oven

Look at the other assistant who LOVES the frosting... his little pal Gracie would love a nibble as well!

Juliette is beginning to frost the lamb

AND the finished project! AND since Tripp looks like he is going to have blue eyes, we made the eyes of the lamb a sort of blue... Juliette was thrilled she thought that the eyes made the lamb look like a beautiful cat!

Merry times... the Easter season is upon us!

Some funny happenings...

This past week we decided to take Juliette to the Circus. I made sure that she took a good nap so that she was ready for the evening. I turn around in the car because it was oddly quiet in the back and this is what I found at 5:30 PM...

The next morning on the way to school, Juliette could not eat enough of Doh's sugar snap peas from the garden...

This was a picture Mrs Kraft sent to me of Juliette and her little friends Sullivan and Marielle. She has such a wonderful time each day of school.

What we do on rainy weekends...

We learn how to play "tidly-winks"

... And so graciously (well not really) agree to let Trippy learn how to ride "Sun-Star" the beloved horsey...

Juliette also got to see her first movie this weekend at the movie theatre with her friends Kellie and Charlie! She had quite the time watching "The Croods"... I think she was more excited about the M&M's and candies that she got than the actual movie...

A very special day picking out Ul'Nanny's new puppy

Today was such a special day for Juliette. Ul'Nanny has been promising her a very special day in which she would go with him to find the puppy. Well an afternoon with Ul'Nanny surely did not disappoint.

Riding in Ul'Nanny's super big truck all by myself!

Ul'Nnny prepped her on manners and good listening and gentle playing with the puppies...

All the puppies ran right over to her... There were five females... and all absolutely GORGEOUS!

Look Ul'Nanny!

She could not keep her hands off them! She had two in her hand at one point.

Sweet Ashley Belle! She is named after the Ashley River in Summerville and Juliette helped with her last name in honor of Belle from Beauty and the Beast...

Tripp on the other hand was just thrilled to crawl around... he would laugh when a puppy would come up to him

Welcome to the family sweet Ashley Belle! You will make one fine friend and hunter for Ul'Nanny!

At the very end I heard Juliette tell Ul'Nanny, "Ul"Nanny when you and I have a play date, that will be great because I can babysit her!"

And then after Ul"Nanny goes home I hear, "Mommy I wish I were Ul'Nanny so I could live with Ashley Belle..."

Pure preciousness!

A trip to "China Town" with Daddy

After church yesterday Juliette and her Daddy made a special trip to "China Town" as Don calls it also known as Wal-Mart. Juliette has been on her best behavior so they were making a special trip to get a new Barbie. Of course Juliette comes home with Barbie and her pony, some yummy goldfish, cheetos, and a new "real" ring... yes the China town $8 special behind the case... because after all who doesn't need a new "real" ring! Check it out on her finger...

AND this morning we had the first crisis with the ring, it fell off her finger and into the toilet... yes Mommies will do anything including digging into the toilet to get the ring!

Spring has almost sprung...

So in celebration of that we had a very fun outside to begin the day

At the park!

Tripp had his first ride in the seat that rides behind my bike... he thought that was pretty cool!

Then we returned home and found some true monkey business going on...  there is one thing for sure, this boy loves to climb!

Juliette rolled forward with the day drawing Tripp and her family... I think it looked pretty darn good!

She was desperate to take a snooze but of course would not admit to that - so this is where I found her...

AND then five minutes later on the couch...

BUT as in Juliette style, a small rest brings back all of the energy... she is ready to play airplane with Trippy...

"Silly girl why are you on MY airplane?"

AND now she has disappeared... where could she be?

That's okay she can come find me now!

Peek-A-Boo!
