Juliette in the mirror

Juliette is becoming very interested in watching her reflection in the mirror when we change her. We can turn her on her side and she will just watch her movements.

Tiffany, Grace and Renae meet Juliette

My best childhood friend Tiffany and her little eight month old daughter Grace were in town from Charlotte this weekend and came to meet Juliette. Don and I got to see first hand what we could look forward to when Juliette is eight months old. In a matter of 30 seconds Grace had managed to hide in the bottom shelf of our end table. What a beautiful little baby she is. Then my good friend Renae from KY was in town for the weekend and came to meet Juliette as well. How great to see everyone.

The "Juliet" Tomato

My Dad found a Juliet tomato seed for the garden. The vine produced the first crop of ripe tomatos. My Dad commented that the tomato had a very thick skin... hmmm we will have to see if that is indeed Juliette.

Juliette's One Month old

Juliette turned one month old today. We took a picture of the three of us to celebrate. She continues to grow each day. She is sleeping better at night waking up usually once or twice feeding and then going right back down. She continues to like to turn on her side in the bassinet and we feel like it is only a matter of time before she rolls over in there. She has recently discovered the fact that she LOVES to be held! While we all love to hold her, there are moments when things have to get done around the house. My girlfreinds all recommended a swing which I went and purchased on Monday. It has saved the day! I can now shower and make a bed without a fussy baby AND Don and I can enjoy dinner.

She is a wonderful baby! We so do enjoy her. She went to visit her Daddy's office yesterday where everyone was thrilled to see her.
