Don's trip to Kodiak Island, Alaska

Don had what seemed to be an amazing fishing trip to Alaska with his Dad and 10 other men. They stayed in a cabin and fished every day catching mostly silver salmon, pink salmon and halibut. Juliette and I were quite excited to greet him after being gone for 9 days. Note... Don caught the biggest fish of the week - a 120 pound halibut. The picture will not show the whole halibut as it is longer than Don.

Juliette meets her Mima, Papa, Aunt Kathleen, Uncle John and Cousin Owen

Juliette met her Mima and Papa. They were thrilled to meet their newest Grandchild. We celebrated that evening with both sets of grandparents and dinner and champagne in Juliette's honor. Later Aunt Kathleen, Uncle John and Cousin Owen arrived. Everyone spent the day playing with Juliette.

We had a very special few days spent with Juliette's Great Grandpa Bud. It was very special for her to get to meet him.

Juliette's First Play Date

Juliette met her first two fiends today... my dear childhood friends sisters Lee and Sally Davis all had babies within 2 months of each other. They came for a visit and we could not resist the adorable pitcures. You will notice Juliette has a bit of yellow in her pigment. She was a bit jaundiced but her bililight has helped over the past day or two.

The next day at the hospital my parents and brother came to meet Juliette. This is the first grandchild on my side so everyone was VERY excited!

Juliette has arrived!

Juliette made her grand appearance into the world on Wednesday evening at 10:37 pm. I went in for an appointment on Wednesday morning, August 6th and labor at that point had begun. I was induced beginning around noon and she was born later that evening. She is doing great. We were released from the hospital Friday afternoon, August 8th. She is a wonderful baby and we love her dearly! She has been a PERFECT baby so far! I will post a few of the pictures.

No News... and the wait continues

I just wanted to let everyone know that I did have a Doctors appointment and there was not too much news to report. I am still about 1 1/2 cm dilated and 80% effaced. Little Juliette seems to be quite comfortable right inside and in no hurry to come out into the world.

We are all ready to go. The bags have been packed since last week and now we are just in the waiting mode. Juliette's room is all set and decorated as well. We just need little baby Juliette at this point. We will keep everyone posted over the next few days.
