"Dancing with the Bishop England Belles"

Today was such a fun day for Juliette. She and her little girlfriend Maggie got to dance with the belles today. The Belles are the high school dance team. The girls worked with them on little routines and did all kinds of fun stuff. The big treat is that they get to dance on the field for the BE homecoming game this coming Friday. This should be a real hoot! They did a little performance for us and Juliette had the moves going on. She was really getting into it. That afternoon she played "dance teacher" the rest of the day with her pom poms.

4 year old well baby check

Juliette had her four year old well baby check today. This is not one of the favorite visits. She had to get four shots. The good news is that she will be done with her vaccination shots now until she is 11 years old. She is 43 pounds and 42 inches tall. She is still off the charts for height. For the first time too they did an eye test on her as well as a hearing test. She is a perfectly healthy and happy child! There is nothing more we could ask for.

Waiting to see Dr. Kimberly

Nothing like Menchies for being so brave for my shots

What we do on our 7 month birthday

Another fun memorable day when Tripp turns seven months old... you ask why memorable? Well nothing too unusual - just good laughs, fun memories and hilarious times with a four year old and a seven month old. Tripp is too funny - he is getting pretty close to being mobile. I still am not rushing that at all because once he is on the go I know he will never slow down.

The time has come....

Tripp has made the move upstairs to his room. I have been holding out keeping him in the cradle next to my bed and he has just gotten too big for it. His little hands and feet are hanging out of it. He woke up at 2:30 this morning from wanting to stretch out so I knew the time had come.

He slept 3 1/2 hours this afternoon upstairs and looks mighty comfortable this evening!

Good times and good laughs enjoying each other

A pianist in the making

Juliette is ready to learn the piano. She enjoys the eccentric look of a composer anyway - a nice hair band, scarf (which is my tie for my robe) and glamorous pajamas.

Night night sweet baby boy

My first Bishop England high school football game

Juliette had a "sleep party" with her Tessa and Doh last night so Mommy and Daddy decided to adventure out to my Alma Mater's football game. It was so much fun and it was the first game that I had been to since I graduated from high school. It will not be the last since the stadium is right down the street from the house.

Tripp had the best time and was wide eyed almost until the end! He is already excited to be a future "Battling Bishop"

Alert and having a ball!

Crashed and done!

This baby is going to sleep well tonight!

My first day of ballet class

Juliette has been so excited to start back up with ballet. This year we chose a brand new ballet studio that just started. For the last two years she has been doing some tumbling, tap and ballet in a little class. This year she will just be learning ballet. She really loved her teacher "Ms Julie" and there are only three little girls in her class. Can you imagine all that she is going to be able to learn?

What we are doing in school...

Juliette continues to love school. Mrs. Kraft told me today that Juliette much prefers drawing circles to squares which they were studying today. That is very typical for a more feminine girl she was telling me. They prefer to draw their name fancy with squiggles. Also in general this preference is a sign of a very happy and content child. All sounded great and a Mother is always happy to hear that. Here was some of her work from last week.

Tripp is getting stronger and stronger on his belly... it is only a short time until he is starting to crawl around - trust me I am in no hurry for that though.

Budding artist...

Juliette is really enjoying painting since she has been back in school. Lord help her and let her have more luck in the art department than her Mama. My art skill is pathetic and has really not improved at all since the 2nd grade.

Well, we'll have to wait and see how her development goes - in the meantime here is some beautiful watercolors! The picture is for sale at the local art gallery for any takers... ha!

Some serious efforts here... a fish for Daddy when he gets home from fishing

Utter exhaustion sets in from all the stress of being an artist...

Oh but do we pep up when Daddy gets home and its time to say hello to the fish!

Baby Tripp is EVER so HAPPY on his belly

We keep moving and shaking... new things all the time... Tripp LOVES his belly! There is no way to stop this little guy - he is insistent to move right onto his belly. He sleeps like that all night long.

Where our imagination can take us...

Juliette and all of her favorite friends on a ride to "Atlanta"... she has been to Atlanta one time but she has become slightly obsessed with the place.... it is her favorite place to travel to right in her very own house. All of her favorite friends give each other a ride.

And if the pony can't get me there....

The fish will...

Looks like someone has some teeth

It's official! There are two teeth in Tripp's mouth.

This afternoon we went in the pool and put Tripp in a little raft. Ho absolutely LOVED it! I thought that the water may be cold for him but he seemed just fine. He was so relaxed that he fell asleep in it. We could not believe how happy he was in there.
