Happy New Year!
We rang in the new year with a great oyster roast at Don's parents' house in Beaufort. All of his family was there to share some roasted oysters... perfect crisp weather, beer, oysters, and friends and family.... what more could we ask for?
I hope that each of you have a happy and healthy 2011!

Merry Christmas to all...
Merry Christmas to everyone. We have had such a special day! The hit of Christmas was Juliette's new rocking horse that actually makes noise! She loves to kiss "Jenny Horsie" and and pet her. I think she will have a lot of fun with this. Thank you Santa.
We spent Christmas at my parent's house along with Danny and his girlfriend Elizabeth. It was so much fun!

T'was the night before Christmas....
Twas the night before Christmas and and all through the house was one excited little girl! We had my Mom and Dad over for dinner and in the mean time, Santa happened to knock on the door and leave a little present early for the good little girl.
We wrote Santa a note and Juliette picked out at the grocery store what she wanted to leave the reindeer and Santa. She left them two carrots and Santa some milk. She was stingy with the cookies and decided that he did not need one.
I was surprised that she really did get the whole concept this year. She knew how Santa would get in and that he would be coming that night with the reindeer...

Summerville Christmas parade
We had such a fun day with friends at the Summerville Christmas parade! The weather was nice and brisk and gave a had a very nice holiday feel to it. Juliette had quite the time with the big girls and boys. She sat on the curb the whole time waving and wishing everyone in the parade a very "Merry Christmas"

Juliette's Christmas party today
What a special day for all of the parent's! I could not believe how much Juliette enjoyed the singing and the dancing for us! The twos are all SO cute! The children sang some of their songs and jingled the bells and then they got a visit from Santa! That was quite exciting. I included a short video of her singing. She is in the green. You can just click on the play button for it to play.

3rd Annual Holiday Fashion Show
I always get so into the spirit each year seeing all of the little babies and girls dressed up in beautiful outfits that their Mom's or their Tessa's (Grandma's) have made. Juliette was quite a handful at the show. She hand a mild tantrum waiting in line becuase she wanted to go and find her Daddy and her Doh (my Dad) sitting down watching. Once she began to walk down the little aisle with me she did great! Her Daddy was bribing her with M&M's at the end. Sad I know, but it really worked.
These were the outfits that she wore that my Mom made for her. They look so absolutely adorable on her of course!

A visit with Santa Claus
Christmas would not be complete without a visit with Santa Claus. I was so surprised - Juliette was a little bit apprehensive at first and put all of her fingers in her mouth when she sat on his lap, but then she pulled them out and started to talk to Santa. Santa asked what kind of cookies she would make him and she told him "Mommy's cookies"...
