Nothing can be more fun than the fair!

We went with our good friends to the fair yesterday. We got there to beat traffic around 4:00 and the girls were still riding rides at 9:45 - that is not a lie! Juliette looked like she was about to fall over on the last ride, the teacups. This was the first time that she was really able to enjoy and get on rides. She LOVED it! I can tell now that she will be one of those little ones that loves to ride rides all day. Neither Don nor I can stand rides without gettting totally nauseous.

Note, I found the brightest clothes possible so I could spot Juliette at ALL times! Also check out the tat on Don's neck... he got a real wild hair last week (JK, it is from his Halloween costume that he wore last night. I told him I liked the look!

Look at what a big girl... she made the height minimum just by a hair

She could not get enough of the animals, just as she got off the elephant she said, JuJu ride the camel now

She was zonked out in my arms walking to the car, needless to say there was no talking on the way home from baby

"Trick or Treat" from the words of a cow girl

Tonight we almost did not make it to tick or treat. Juliette had no nap today and after all a long night at the fair last night she was exhausted! We had dinner at my parents' house and in the middle of dinner she fell asleep sitting up at the table. That is a first for sure. Luckily she got a second wind and was up for the rally of the trick or treat. She is a bit soft spoken with strangers so she very quietly each time would say "trick or treat" and then a very quiet, "thank you."It is such a fun little evening for all of the children.

No Naps! What is happening??

Okay, for my Mommy girl friends... please help. This is Juliette when she should be taking a nap. I have battled a nap with her for the last solid week. It has become a war in who can last longer - Mommy listening to the fussing upstairs or Juliette doing the fussing. She does not want to sleep. Have any of you experienced this just past age two? Is this normal? She is SO tired by the end of the evening. Any suggestions would be great.

Steps to making some DELICIOUS Halloween cookies

We made some very fun Halloween cookies this week. This was Juliette's first time assisting in making some very yummy cookies. She enjoyed it very much.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful spooky Halloween weekend!

Instead of a dolly baby, let's wheel around a real baby

Juliette found an even more fun game to play. We had some great friends Susan and Ben over for dinner and Juliette made Benjamin sit in her doll baby's stroller. Why not? He sure did not seem to mind a "Baby Mommy" for a little while.

A day at the pumpkin patch with friends

We spent the afternoon at Boone Hall at the pumpkin patch and hay ride with great friends. The girls could not have had more fun! Juliette got to feed goats, pick out a pumpkin and jump in the jump castle for hours. What could be more fun for a girl?

Now here are some fish.... !

Don and my Dad had quite a fishing day yesterday. Don proudly broke the Stovall-Mendini record for a redfish measuring at 30 inches. They had such a day note the two fish in the net that they caught at the very same time!

Happy Fall....

Oh it is a wonderful feeling outside today. It could not be a more beautiful fall day! Don and I took Juliette to the book store and we found two fun Halloween books. She is getting very excited about Halloween this year.

I LOVE this time of the year!
