Oh what to do first on gorgeous weekends!

The weekend was gorgeous!! We got out all weekend and enjoyed. Juliette and Tripp decided that they wanted to have car races in the drive. You can imagination the competition - Tripp had to win and Juliette had to win… both claimed they each won.

She still loves her antique Ford… just like her Mama she hates shoes! She would run barefooted anywhere and everywhere.

So the race was on….

Tripp was not satisfied and was sure that his motorcycle could go faster than his Daddy pushing him!

I was not to be left out of the fun with one baby with me and the other asleep.

Gypsy even had some good ball throwing...

Turn your head for a skinny minute and this is what you find...

Hence why he has to be watched! "Look Mommy I drive Ul'Nanny's boat with da wheel! I take it to Atlanta…"

Thomas and Juliette - this is the one who resembles Juliette so much!

As the days go by and the twins get older Juliette tends to them more and more. She would like to now hold them and feed them. Last night I walked in to her singing to Tyler. It was the sweetest thing ever!

And if Buckwheat can't be at the house with her… she now takes her Easter bunny basket and her two bunnies everywhere with her… wherever she falls asleep they are there!

Yesterday afternoon we made time for a picnic… perfect weather and a perfect day to relax!

We found some good friends at the Juvenile Diabetes walk! What a super weekend!

A busy day at the Doctor's office

We had quite a busy day at the Doctor's office today. Tripp had his three year old well baby check. It went so well. He talked the whole time to Dr. Kimberly. She gave him a pen to draw with and he told her he was going to draw Superman. First he began with his right hand and almost immediatley began to use his left hand. We are almost sure that he is a lefty. He eats and does most things with that hand but then will surprise you and use his right hand. It is very interesting.

"Are you a good helper and do you love your brothers?"
Yes. And I like to pet them
"Do the babies keep you up all night?"
Yes
"Do you like to play?"
I no like to play
"Do you like preschool?
Yes, I play with Zoey and Carson
"What is your favorite healthy food?"
A lolly (Lollipop - good answer Tripp, Juliette's response at three to Dr. Kimberly was chocolate)
"Are you a funny boy Tripp?"
No, I da Dickens
"And Tripp how old are you?"
I'm five
"Are you sure about that?"
Yes I mam sure

Hilarious!

Tripp is now 34 pounds (74th percentile) and 38 1/2 inches tall (67 percentile)

Take a guess if he wanted to wear the gown? You're right! No way! He was sure Dr. Kimberly needed to see his belly button.

Then the twins were next! They had their three month checkup with some shots. They were ready to go. We have an official colicky baby just like I was. It has been miserable for poor Thomas. We changed formulas and began Zantac two days ago and we have a completely different baby! He actually now looks forward to eating and so now does Mommy who feeds him.

They made out great. Thomas is now 11 pounds 9 ounces and Tyler is 13 pounds 1 ounce. They are growing beautifully.

Rainy days make us all a little nutty!

So instead we decide to brave out the rain and play with our wonderful friends, the Huntington boys. Tripp is in Heaven now that he has some little "Man Friends" as he calls them. We are SO happy they have moved back to Charleston!

And then to end the night with some selfies on the couch! I think all four of us were nutty by the end of the evening.

A 3rd birthday celebration!

And just like that I have a baby turning three years old! We had a wonderful celebration today at the Little Gym with his whole little class. The children had SO much fun as it was a few's first time at a birthday party. Tripp LOVED it and loved running around. It is so cute at this age as they still independently play. They like to sit by each other but they don't understand group play yet and all run the motions and the games at the same time but really are independently doing things.

Don was on call today and as luck would have it got slammed right around the time of the party. We still had a great time but wished he could join in the fun.

Tripp, you are the funniest little guy. As a toddler with Juliette, the house remained intact. Somehow, since you have come along in typical boy style, I feel like the house takes a beating everyday. There are some days it seems anything you touch either gets banged, bruised or broken. Hence life with a little boy! To think there are two more the poor house has to survive.

You are truly a Comedian. Your particularness is still very evident. It is most noted every morning when you get out of bed and are already concerned about what you will be wearing for the day. Your favorite is still "Birthday Dog and jammie pants." If you could wear jammies every day and all day you would be one thrilled big!

You have begun to ask lots of questions and "why" is your favorite word. You have a fit even thinking that it may be time to take a nap or go hushaby. I remind you each day that Mommy wishes she could take a nap! Before nap though you love to sit on the chair and read stories and you love a good story telling. You laugh hysterically when we tell you the story of the little boys and girls and their dogs…

"There once was a little boy named Thomas and he loved his dog Gypsy
and a little girl Juliette and she loved her dog Dypsy
and another little boy Tyler and he loved his dog Typsy
and there was a Mommy and she loved her dog Pipsy
and Daddy who loved his dog Mipsy
and finally there was a little boy named Tripp and he loved his dog "Bob"

And finally in good three year old style you love the word "NO"… if we say yes to anything, you have to disagree with "No"…. if we say it is…. you say, "No it isn't" and if we offer you something we would like you to have, you will respond, "I no want that…" EXCEPT if its a lollipop! You are a boy with the biggest sweet tooth! Your Tessa says each day that you will marry a girl some day named "Candy"

My sweet boy loves some sweets and has the sweetest little heart! We cherish you each day and love you you SO very much! You are my favorite three year old around!

Love,
Mommy
