T'was the day before Easter

And now we were just about prepared for Easter. We had met the bunny three times now and these little people were getting QUITE excited!

I took Juliette and Tripp to Gwynn's Department store to hold the bunnies that they bring in each Easter season. All the bunnies had been adopted. Juliette begged and pleaded to adopt this bunny. Luckily he was spoken for. I assured her that Buckwheat would be sad if she got another bunny.

Then she got to hold one of the bunnies at the club celebration. Juliette really has a soft spot for rabbits!

But nothing has her heart quite like Buckwheat himself!

Tripp, he's so wild I am not sure he has a soft spot for anything! He is such a boy! I had to reminder him to pet gently....

Happy Easter from all of the Stovall children! Happy hunting and may you find many eggs.

Daniel Island Easter egg hunt

We were brave indeed! Ms. Adi, Tessa and me braved the hunt with all four children! It was SO much fun and the weather could not have been any more beautiful.

We were all so happy to be out and about and once again getting ready for the Easter season.

Did the babies like the bunnies? Tyler was not a big fan but Thomas was quiet interested in him! We was super into touching his whiskers and nose.

Juliette was awesome with the babies as always! She helped them find some eggs in the baby hunt and showed them how to pile them in the basket.

Looking for the Easter bunny at school

Tripp was so excited to get to school this morning for his special Easter production and egg hunt! We were greeted at the stage with some beautiful artwork representing Easter that the children had made.

The children were so excited to process in for the production!

They sang songs... this time unlike the Christmas show Tripp actually participated and danced and sang. He did not try to hide his face behind his hands.

He was just about ready for the Easter egg hunt. As like last year, he is not nearly as concerned with quantity as he is with checking out what is in the one egg that he finds. The hunt was about over and Tripp had two eggs. He was perfectly happy. All of his were waiting for him as each child picked 10 eggs.

After the hunt look who arrived??!

Tripp was eager to go and see him again this year. He was ready to jump right into his arms.

Yes and the bunny requested a picture with Mommy and Tessa as well.

What a special day for all of the children!

I love Spring and I love the Easter season with all the signs of new life around!

Oh boy... it's off to the Doctor we go!

It's that time again! Tripp, Thomas and Tyler were all due for checkups. Thomas and Tyler had their 15 month check up. Thomas and Tyler are both in the 50th percentile for height and weight. Tyler weighs 24.5 pounds versus big guy Thomas who weighed in 1/2 pound heavier at 25 pounds. Tyler however is a half inch taller than Thomas. Thomas again made the big guy cut with his head diameter larger than Tyler's.

Thomas and Tyler are both solid walkers now! They actually are beginning to speed walk and walk with things in their hand. Tyler and Thomas are both talking. Their favorite words are still
"Dew-ette" which is Juliette
Ma Ma
Da Da
Gracias
Ma (trying to say mas which is more in Spanish)

They were not sold on the appointment this time at all.

Before they even got undressed they looked quite unsure.

Tyler, we promise this is just to check your weight!

Thomas of course the ultimate Mama's boy is fine as long as he is in my arms.

Time to lay him down just for some length... Yikes!

I never knew that listening to the lungs and heart could be so frightening!

They were all super healthy and Dr Kimberly could not have been happier. Nothing that a little bit of fudgsicle can't fix!

Tripp on the other hand was ready to go! I even did let him know that there would be shots at this appointment. He knew that a good boy would get a stop at the Wendy's for a frosty.

He was unsure of the blood pressure sleeve but then decided that it tickled!

He let Dr. Kimberly know that his favorite food was broccoli... this guy is smarter than he needs to be. Kimberly even said, "Looks like Mommy did some coaching..." I didn't even mention it to him, even though he does not like broccoli, he gave her the answer that he knew she would want.

It still appears that he is a lefty. Even though he kicks with his right foot which is usually an indicator, Kimberly had him write his name. He instantly brought the pen up to his left hand and began drawing and righting his name. We then asked him to use the other hand. Kimberly agreed that there was a substantial difference in both drawings. His left hand is much stronger and more comfortable for him with a pencil.

He was sure he was there to see "Dr. Corey" who fixed his leg. I let him know that he was not at Daddy's office.

This was his first check up that he got to wear the gown. With as particular as he is with clothes, take a guess - did he like the gown or not?
If you guessed NO, you are correct!
He wanted that thing off because "Mommy, boys do not wear dresses."

Four shots later and this little guy is done with vaccines until age 11! The 4 year old appointment scarred Juliette after the shots but Tripp was really quite brave. After the third shot he began to wimper but never fully even cried.

Mommy was so proud of him!

Welcome to the fours little boy!

lovely day with these sweet girls

I had the most special day today! I got to spend the day chaperoning and driving these precious girls. Juliette's class had a field trip to Footlight Players's Theatre for the production of "The Little Mermaid."

The day was SO enjoyable! Listening to little second graders chat and giggle is just the best. Juliette was excited when two of the little girls assured Juliette that the best part of their day was the ride in our car!
