Ashley Belle the newest member of our extended four legged family - Ul'Nanny's puppy is SO darn precious and gorgeous! Juliette is in love with her and wants to see her each day!

Abigail's 2nd birthday

We took a road trip to Columbia for Abigail Mace's 2nd birthday. What a fun day that was! Elizabeth and I grew up together and she was one of my best friends when we were little and still is today. It was such a SPECIAL day.

We began the morning with a birthday breakfast at Elizabeth's house

We ended the party at the Edventure in Columbia. What a fabulous Children's place. Juliette tried her hand at milking the cow... she enjoyed that and tried it several times. 

She and Tessa then went grocery shopping. Check out the products in her cart: 4 boxes of cake mix, a cherry pie, milk and butter - looks like this girl has plenty of baking on her mind!

Shad fishing in the Tail Race canal

I had my first experience shad fishing and that was surely fun! The shad make their annual run from the ocean all the way up to the end of the Cooper River where they spawn and then die. We had such a fun day beginning with a Bojangle's bo-berry biscuit, friend chicken and some beer! Now that is what I call a perfect day!

Fun times in Summerville

It is truly one of my favorite weekends of the whole year - it is the weekend of the Flowertown Festival in Summerville. We went up for fun both Friday and Saturday and just could not get enough of it. It is the reunion of reunions when it comes to old school best friends! Juliette has so much fun as well with the daughters of Mommy's besties!

Juliette could not have been happier to see Ellison and Thomas Tyler. We have not seen them as much since they moved to Manning but oh what a treat it was! Thomas still remembers the night at the Mexican restaurant when Juliette could not stop kissing him! Oh boy - we are going to have our hands full that is for sure!

Don got his birthday present a little bit early. This is so gorgeous. The red fish and the trout are stamped on and the artist even included the real weeds that were brought up when he caught both of these fish. This is Don with the artist who is out of Tallahassee, FL. Don was thrilled and I am too to have found a very special gift for him!

Mommy and her babies! This was Trippy's first ride on the merry go round! He was SO excited! Every time the merry go round would go up or down he would squeal and his little legs would just grip tighter the horsie. He LOVED every minute of it. Juliette the old pro assured me that it would be very unnecessary to hold on to her during the ride. 

A new way to measure the growth of Doh's parsley in the garden...

Just put Juliette right up to the parsley and watch it grow taller than she is...

Some recent quotes of my hilarious daughter...

As I constantly have to remind NAG her about buckling up - she looked at me yesterday and said, "Mommy, Mommy I know! Can you just take a chill pack?" I mean are you kidding me? Where does she even learn this stuff? She meant can you take a chill pill... she is too much!

Her new favorite phrase... "Of course I can do that" or "Of course Trippy can climb up those stairs to his bedroom" or "of course Trippy can swim in the bath tub by himself..."

AND the other hilarious phrase, "ACTUALLY, I meant I did not want to sleep" or "ACTUALLY Tripp ate all the cotton candy and not me..."

Her new thing is she will blame anything on Tripp to try to get herself out of trouble at any cost... she has no shame and knows he cannot talk to remotely tell the truth or the real story...

A "Walk" into a whole new world...

Well its official! At 13 months this little guy is walking... his games that he has been playing where he will walk for everyone else except his Mama are over.... I will still carry you baby anywhere you would like to go but I KNOW that you can WALK!
