Breakfast with Santa

We went to meet the good ol' man this morning. There was a lot of excitement in the air when getting to meet him. Juliette was at at a loss as to what she would like from Santa. All she could tell him was that she would like a scooter - now that is news to me!

Now Tripp, he had never met the big man yet and he had some thoughts about that!

Juliette was an old pro.... Tripp thought just who are you?

After a quick look... No thank you Mommy! He looks very strange!

We are all about some getting ready for Christmas

Tis the season and so with the season comes the trimmings! You cannot imagine the help that I received this year from my assistant! She wanted to put every ornament on the tree this year! She really almost did and then I went through and spread them a bit. She however can get the credit that she deserves as the worker on the tree.

I just love this time of the year. There are visits with Santa, talks of elves and the work that they are doing right now to make things happen, wishes for snow (Juliette asks when we are going to get snow every day almost), and talks about the real reason for the season! You get a real appreciation of one reason she is in a Catholic school because she gets to enjoy both Santa and also the reason for the season. She brings home gorgeous crafts that she makes each day at school.

I think this may be the perfect tree...

Tripp is 9 months old

Aww my sweet baby boy is none months old! HE just gets cuter and funnier by the day. He is crawling so fast now you have to keep eyes on him ALL the time! He is working on pulling up and before you know it he will be walking. He laughs all the time and no one can make him laugh as much as his big sister can. Juliette gets him going in the back seat and he laughs so hard at some points you would think that he is crying. It is hilarious!

He is babbling away and really listening to things now. It will be a just a matter of time before he is saying something. Lord knows it better be "Mama" (Ha)

Thanksgiving 2012

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had a full house for dinner with 16. It was so much fun and everyone had a great time. The weather could not have been more beautiful.
