We're on the move fast and furiously...

Well Tripp is just over eight months old and has been crawling for just over a week... it surely did not take long to start hustling around the house. This afternoon he is not only crawling but...

Pulling up and climbing up two stairs...

while on the move up the stairs maybe I'll...

just relax a moment and enjoy the scenes from up high...

Election day...

Juliette was all ready this morning with her elephant dress on and American colored bow. Juliette learned all about the election and assured me that "Mr Omama likes chili and basketball and Mr. Rommey well he likes cold cereal and back-horse riding. Mommy I like Mr. Rommey because he likes back-horse riding."

Although the election did not go our way, we still enjoyed our elephant dress and the fun that we had learning what voting is all about.

Gypsy has a new best friend...

Look who Gypsy cannot get enough of now a days... Tripp! Well it has been known for a while that Juliette adores Gracie much more so Gypsy is refreshed to find a new wonderful pal... She sits next to him any time he is eating and pretends that she is "protecting" him. We all know she is most into the food that he is dropping left and right but it is a win win for both - one has a friend and the other gets some wonderful treats!

(look closely she kind of blends in with the floor but there is Tripp's trusty pal Gypsy who he loves to share with)

Good times when the fair comes to town!

I just love the timing of the fair each year. It is always over Halloween and no matter what there is always cold weather that the fair seems to bring! It never fails. This year was no different and we made two trips to the fair. It is something that I enjoy so much watching Juliette have so much fun and also reliving all of the memories myself as a kid. It is amazing how many of the same rides are still there since I was young.

We love to make the most of each day and these two adventures to the fair were no different!

Juliette LOVED the camel... and of course loved most of
all

Halloween celebrations through the neighborhood

We had such a FUN Halloweens! Juliette was SO into it this year she could not get enough of it. We started the festivities at Tessa and Doh's house with out annual chili dinner and carving of the pumpkin. Well the trick or treaters started to come before we left and Juliette could not get enough of it. She was shy at first and then she would run to the door and pass out all of the candy to the children. I can remember that I loved to help pass out the candy early as well before leaving to go and trick or treat. Don carved the pumpkin and the house was all set. There were trick or treaters everywhere and the cool weather made it feel so much like fall. We took the golf cart and Juliette kept saying just one more house, and then one more and then just one more.... we did not finish until about 8:30.

Juliette's school Halloween party

Halloween was SO much fun this year. Juliette had such a fun day I felt like we needed a whole day off just to recover from all of the festivities. Juliette's teacher Mrs. Kraft has a birthday on Halloween so there was not only a Halloween party at school but a birthday party for Mrs. Kraft.

Mrs. Kraft opening her special gift from her class...

Tripp was SO excited to get to join the party

Do you know who is crawling?? Yup Tripp! eight months old and on the run on all fours...

This was a sample out of Juliette's writing journal that she works in each day. Her best friend Marielle wanted to work on a creation with her.

Some "Spooktacular" stuff going on...

The fire men and fire truck came to Juliette's school today. She was ever SO excited!

Our hunt for our Halloween outfits led us to a very spooky old store with a coffin out front!

Juliette is all ready for Halloween - no black cats but just her two "brown dogs"
