Our First Birthday celebration

What a wonderful day to celebrate baby Juliette's birthday today. It is so hard to believe that she is going to be 1 year old on Thursday. She gets more and more fun each day... if that is even possible. We loved our new toys that we got. Juliette loved her little cupcake and could not get enough. She was on a sugar high all afternoon... after all there was no time for a nappy! Thanks to everyone for making it such a special day!

PS..... we're walking

By the way, Juliette has been walking for about the last week and a half! I have completely forgotten to mention that. She is becoming a real pro.

Foot prints and hand prints

Today was such a special little day for Juliette. They were laying the driveway today at our new house and we were able to get Juliette's little hand prints and foot prints in the concrete before it dried. It is getting so exciting - we will be moving into our new home at the end of the month.

Our very 1st haircut!

What a special day today was.... we got our first haircut today. Juliette was perfect! We had to go to Bangs n' bows and and even got to it in a beautiful antique pink car for the occasion. We got our first lollipop. Here are the before and during pictures of the big day! We are getting ready for our first birthday! I just can not believe it.

A fun cookout at the pool

What a great time we had with the Ollis' and Mendini's. We walked across the street and cooked out with charcoal. Wow, you forget the great taste of charcoal. There is no comparison to a hamburger cooked with charcoal and one cooked with gas. Anyway, we had a great time swimming and laughing the evening away.

Seeing Aunt Elizabeth & a day at the beach

It was so wonderful to spend the afternoon with Elizabeth in town from San Antonio. We have adjusted to life without her here in Charleston but still miss her and think of her so often! We look forward to getting to hang out over the next few weeks while she is in town.
