Weekend with Uncle Jim, Aunt Sue, Matthew & Andrew

We had a great weekend with my Uncle Jim, Aunt Sue and cousins Matthew and Andrew. Juliette loved getting to meet everyone.

Our 1st trip to the Dentist

What an exciting morning. Juliette went to the Dentist. She was much more interested in playing with all of the toys in the waiting room. Her canine teeth are just about to come in and her molars are developing as well.

My Assistant

Every morning and afternoon now this is the help that I get from little Juliette. She can open all cabinets and even has the ability to empty a whole cabinet in about 4 minutes.

Happy Birthday Baby!

Oh JuJu you are 11 months old today. Wow! We are having just so much fun with you. This past weekend you had a play date with baby Grace and you got so into each other. You are really beginning to enjoy other little babies. Mommy has been taking you to the gym with her and you go to the little school. The other day when I walked in you were crawling after a little boy. A little young for that I was thinking.

You babble constantly - still no real words but we just love the made up words that you come up with. I have to say that you still love the word "da da". It cracks us up. Mommy was opening her birthday card from you and in the card it said that you were sorry that you could not yet say "mommy" but that you were trying very hard. I was reading that line to you and just then you look at me and go "da da da". I even had to laugh Juliette. It was very funny! Your Daddy was just a bit proud...

You are still a wonderful sleeper. You now like to play in your crib after you wake up and will entertain yourself for about 20 minutes before you are ready to be out. You are still taking a morning nap and an afternoon nap. I am not sure how much longer that will last.

You eat anything and everything. There is really nothing that you have disliked. You are beginning to not be so fond of bananas but you absolutely love cheese! You are your Mommy's girl at heart.

You took three baby steps yesterday! You are well on your way to beginning to walk.

One more month before you have your 1st birthday! We love every little piece of you and enjoy you beyond what you can even possibly imagine.

Happy 4th of July!

We had such a special day today. Not only was it the 4th of July but we were also able to see Aunt Tiffany and Baby Grace. Both babies were such troopers. They were both lacking a morning nap and very tired but they were sweet the whole lunch. I turned around in the back seat of the car and Grace was holding Juliette's hand in her car seat. It was SO darn cute! I am so glad Tiffany that you and Carl have relocated back to Beaufort. Can't wait to see you MUCH more now.

Thank you to Tessa too for the spirit of the 4th of July with the bow that she made. We felt very patriotic in it all day.

Celebrating my birthday

I had a great birthday with Don. We went to Peninsula Grill and had a wonderful meal. This is always my favorite week of the year!
