Juiette and "Bah Bah" go night night

Juliette loves her baby doll "Bah Bah" who was my baby as a little girl. Last night she had to tuck her in just like she was tucked in to go "night night"

Another year of ballet...

Today we went to get Juliette some new ballet clothes and shoes. It is amazing how much she grows in one year and NOTHING fits that I bought her for the new year last year. I tried to get the same shot of her as I got last year to see just how much she has grown but she is going through an irritating stage of not wanting to smile for the camera or smiling a goofy smile. I have to catch her off guard to get a decent picture.

She loves to go to this shop and show some of the big girls how she points and taps with her shoes. It is so cute!

It is really hard to believe that we are just a few weeks off from a new season of school and activities starting!

A playdate with great friends...

My two girlfriends Jill and Amy from college came over yesterday for a pizza and pool party. We had such a great time together! Between the three of us, we have 6 girls and NO boys... if any of us ever have a boy, he will be quite outnumbered!

It was a beautiful summer evening to play outside all evening!

What we have been up to....

We continue to have a wonderful summer although I am not sure where the summer has gone. Juliette will be starting back to school in just over a month. She will be going three mornings a week from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM each morning. I think that she will be excited to see all of her little friends and her sweet sweet teachers.

It is hard to believe also that she will be turning three in just under two weeks. We are having her little birthday party at the Children's museum so that will be a lot of fun. She continues to crack us up each day for sure.

This evening Don and I took Juliette out for some fishing and she was able to reel in her very first fish - a redfish! She was so excited. Right after she caught "the great big whale", she said, "let's catch another one!"

Weekend with cousins

Last weekend Don's sister Suzanne and the kids came in town for the weekend. We had so much fun together with them! The highlight of the weekend for sure was the new tube that we tried out behind the boat. We played in the tube and swam in the creek the whole evening. It was SO much fun!

Happy 4th of July!

We are having a great 4th of July. It began this morning with our neighborhood parade and will continue into this evening where we will celebrate the 4th and my birthday tonight at my parent's house with everyone.

Today we were out in the boat with great friends the Jackson's. We took a ride through the Harbor and then swam in their neighborhood poll the rest of the afternoon. It was so much fun. I do believe that the 4th of July weekend is my favorite weekend of the year!
