A ride in a new direction
As we know Juliette is less than A+ in the car. We usually do not get 3 miles down the road before she begins to cry/screech. This makes for a less than pleasurable experience for anyone in the car. We decided that it was time for the next size car seat and to sit forward facing. Fingers crossed that we have a new attitude when it comes to a ride in the car.

Fun in the Sun
Another wonderful day playing outside with Lily May, Cass, Aldret, Amy and Abbey. What a fun day! Also what would I do without wonderful friends who even tell me what a "water diaper" is. I had no idea and here Juliette's diaper is about 10 pounds of weight. Leave it to Amy and Abbey to fill me in. PS. Juliette does own some now and she thanks you for telling me about them. Thanks for the invite for a great afternoon in the sun.

Check out the beautiful fish
Today Don, my Dad and Mike Keeley went out creek fishing. They had a terrific day out on the water. Don caught a 28 inch red fish which he released but not without some great pictures! Way to go fishermen
Juliette loved her special "hanging out with the Men's Day" She munched on bagel chips and thought she was just one of the boys...

First day at the beach!
What could be finer than a day at the beach in sweet Carolina! That is what Juliette was thinking yesterday at the beach for the very first time! She LOVED it! She loved the waves, the water (especially the salt) and the sand. We were so loaded with sand at the end I think Juliette was about 5 pounds heavier. She really enjoyed and we cannot wait to go back. We have had our friends the Keeley's in town so it was fun to be at the beach with them as well.
A wonderful trip to Chicago
Well we were not sure what we were in for when we decided to take Juliette to Chicago. We were in for a very nice surprise. Juliette was 10 times better in a plane than she is in a car. We had flight complications and were in the airport and airplanes for a total of almost 20 hours. We did not arrive in Chicago until around 2 AM. We made her a temporary bed out of her stroller and she had the best seat in the whole house. We would call her first real trip a great experience!
The weather was beautiful and we had a wonderful time visiting with Auntie Toni. Juliette was so very thrilled to see Auntie. Chicago is our favorite city to visit.

Who walks the dogs??
Happy 10 Months Old Juliette
Happy Happy Birthday to you... amazingly enough you are ten months old. What a ham you are. Everything you do now you seem to do with great zeal and excitement. Sitting in laps after all is for babies and you feel for sure that you are not a baby. The only good time for a lap is to have a bottle or when you are super sleepy. There is after all a huge world to see and you are ready to conquer it.
Some of your new little achievements this month. Your new favorite activity is to turn the bath water on and off. We may see a slight rise in the water bill from this new activity. You LOVE your baths so much that you may be telling us you are ready for another one.
Eating has become quite comical. You are now eating big girl food including cheese, peas, strawberries, turkey and many other new little items. You love to blow bubbles with your food as you are being fed. You still love your puffs that you snack on. The dogs love you more and more as you seem to throw more and more treats on the floor for them to eat. We are working on the sippy cup still. You for sure still prefer your bottle though.
You now go to the gym with Mommy a few days a week and go to the little school there. You are not sure about playing with the other little children yet and prefer to be held the whole time. Mommy laughs when she drops you off and you are in the girl's arm and when I pick you up you are in the girl's arm still just taking it all in.
You're are on the verge of walking. You are cruising beautifully while holding onto things. You can pull up on anything including our legs. It is only a matter of time before you are walking on your own.
As for talking, you are still babbling away. Daddy wins the race as you continue to babble dadadadada and many other sounds... we think that it is still all indiscriminate though. You are not quite yet knowing what you are saying. You are working on waving and have waived several times to us.
To such a happy and healthy baby! We love you!
hmmm... what's for dinner?
